Langfang, China – The 2016 China (Langfang) International Economic & Trade Fair, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Hebei Province, took place from May 18 to 21, 2016 at Langfang International Conference & Exhibition Center.

Approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China China, this trade faire has successfully been held for 33 sessions and upgraded to a State-level fair in 2010. This year’s event had over 2,600 participants, from across 50 different countries and regions, providing a great opportunity for businesses to explore the economic benefits that will arise from the national Jing-Jin-Ji strategy aimed at integrating Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province into one massive and dynamic megalopolis with 130 million people.

The “Canada Town”, a pavilion grouping Canadian entities and relevant businesses to exhibit their products and service was set within the trade fair, as part of the strategic importance given to the Sino-Canadian business collaboration by Lang Fang municipal government.

CTC, "The Ice & Snow Specialists from Canada" made part of the “Canada Town”, showcasing innovative solutions for the development of winter sports in China, including the structural air dome for sports and entertainment, the street curling, the synthetic ice rink, the multi-purpose ice rink and the winter amusement park.
